My son Ntsikayesizwe Masondo joined happy feet day care on the 1st of August 2022 he was 3 years old. Now, he was previously schooled before but nothing compares to the past year he has spent at HPDC. Traditionally we believe in raising our kids to speak their mother tongue at home and we leave it upon the school to teach them other languages. When my son joined the school, I was stressed because he cried a lot and seemed like he wouldn't settle. Teacher Busi (the principal) assured me that the boy is in good hands and that he would surely fit in. Skeptical at first, but I trusted the process. After a week I checked in with Teacher Busi, and she confirmed that the boy has settled in well. I asked their transport driver, he also confirmed that he had settled in well. My biggest worry was the language barrier because he didn't know any word of English. Within a month my boy was able to construct English sentences. A year later the only language he communicates in is English. Everyday there's a new word learnt. Their focus on the learning curriculum is truly amazing. There is no off day from learning.
There is full child friendly descipline from the teachers. My boy is always happy to be going to school on a daily. He enjoys his transport drives, his friends and he mostly enjoys story time. I see it at home when he recites what his teacher read that day.
I love the fact that you can communicate with the teachers at anytime. You don't have to wait for a parents meeting to know how your child is doing at school.
They always give one on one attention to the parent and child when needed.
I am truly happy about the decision I made of enrolling my son at Happy feet day care. The best home away from home❤️

The teachers and staff truly care about each child as an individual. They took the time to get to know my son's personality and interests, and tailored activities and lessons just for him. He thrived in the Fledging’s classroom, gaining confidence, learning new skills, and making friends.
